By the end of the Foundation school year, children should be able to read and spell CVC and CCVC words and words with a range of the common Stage 1 digraphs and write dictated and self-generated sentences. The Essential Foundation Literacy Starter Pack contains everything you need from blending three phonemes, to segmenting CVC words, through to first spelling and writing activities.

Foundation refers to Pre-primary(WA), Kindergarten (NSW/ACT), Prep (QLD/VIC/TAS) Reception (SA).

These resources can be accessed by multiple users simultaneously and can be printed (subject to restrictions) or displayed by employees of the ‘Authorised purchaser’ within their classroom.
