Integrated SSP Kits include 12 months of access (for a single class and teacher) to the digital components of the Kit. After this initial period, a standard annual fee ($49.50 inc. GST) will apply. Learn more.
The SSP Support Kit delivers Tier 3 instruction across three levels of targeted support.
An individually administered program, delivered at least three times per week for approximately 20 minutes (extendable to 30-45 mins as required)
A classroom component, enabling students receiving individualised support to remain aligned with differentiated whole class instruction.
Home support activities, where parents/carers are able to reinforce the same concepts and skills.
A weekly documentation page records the session frequency, content taught and the in-class and home support delivered to the student. Ensuring easy tracking and clear evidence of support delivered.
PLD’s Integrated SSP Support Kit Program is designed to be delivered by support staff for students working significantly behind their year level peers and require frequent and intensive support (Tier 2 and Tier 3 students). The program provides withdrawal-from-class sessions:
Delivered for a minimum of three days per week (and may run across the full week)
Delivered one-to-one for approximately 20 minutes, if time allows sessions can be extended up to 30-45 minutes
Revise and consolidate phonic concepts and Heart HFWs while building reading accuracy, automaticity and fluency
Explicitly teaches high utility suffixes and vocabulary to strengthen decoding, spelling, and comprehension
Provides in-class differentiated materials which align to PLDs phonic progression so students can participate in the same activities as their peers, but at an accessible level, effectively doubling instruction time across the week
The SSP Kit Manuals are provided in both hard copy and digital formats, making printing individual progress documentation for each student quick and simple.
