Program Audit & Trade-In Previous Editions

Program Audit & Trade-In Previous Editions

Classrooms require a set of “essential” PLD programs in order to implement PLD efficiently and effectively. The following two processes aim to assist schools in ensuring that classroom teachers have access to the programs that they require.

PLD Program Audit

The process below is designed to assist schools in auditing the “essential” programs within the school.

Step 1: Download the PLD Audit Form.

Step 2: Document what essential year-level programs exist within the school and the programs that are required.

Step 3: Order the required programs directly on the PLD website or email the form to mail@pld-literacy.org for a quote.

Step 4: PLD processes orders within 24 hours

Trade-in Previous PLD Editions

PLD provides a 20% trade-in discount when schools are keen to update the programs within the school. In order to secure this discount, the following steps must be followed:

Step 1: Identify which previous PLD programs the school is keen to ‘trade-in’. (e.g. 5 titles).

  • Option 1: Email mail@pld-literacy.org with the number of resources to be traded in along with a list of the items the school wishes to place the 20% discount against. Post back to PLD the covers (or the whole books) to be traded in, address to: PLD Literacy, ATTN: TRADE-INS, 116 Parry Street, Perth WA 6000. Please include a purchase order number or credit card details with the instructions.
  • Option 2: Post all trade-in items (or just the removed covers) to PLD, addressed to:
PLD Literacy, ATTN: TRADE-INS, 116 Parry Street, Perth WA 6000. Include in the mailing, the list of items the school wishes to purchase and apply the 20% discount. Please include a purchase order number or credit card details with the instructions.

Why remove the covers? By removing the covers, teaching staff still can use the books, while waiting for the replacements. Returning the covers reduces the postage costs involved in the return of the items. Importantly the older editions (in their damaged cover-less format) will then be removed from circulation, upon the delivery of the new items.

Step 2: Once the PLD office has received the trade-in resources, the new replacement items will be posted out.

Please note that the trade-in discount can be applied to the entire PLD range, with the exception of the Decodable Home and Targeted Group Reading Books and Wikki-Stix sets.
