3 Year Old Comprehension Questions Progress Check
A screen of comprehension ability focusing on Blank Level 1 and Level 2 questions.
The Comprehension Questions screens can be used to assess a child’s progress with the comprehension programs or to allow for the identification of areas of weakness that require support. They are:
- Designed by Speech Pathologists.
- Designed for use in the home or within schools.
- A time-efficient screen focusing on questions a child of that age would be expected to answer without difficulty.
Included in the screen:
- Clear instructions for the adult who is administering the screen.
- 3, 4, 5 and 6-7 year old Comprehension Screens includes a picture scene with related questions.
- Examples of adequate and inadequate responses are provided for each question.
- Space for recording a child’s exact response.
After implementing the PLD comprehension questions program for two terms, the presentation of the relevant screen is recommended. For the students with low language ability and additional end of year screen is also recommended.
