Screening is a PLD area of strength. For each age range, we have a collection of non-standardised screening tools that are available within our programs and for download. Use this assessment schedule to refine your whole school literacy strategy or plan your literacy classroom assessments.

Most of the screening tools mentioned in this downloadable assessment schedule can be downloaded directly from the Screening Tools section of our website or are contained within the recent versions of the Phonic Sight Word Sequence.

Many of the tools are also linked to the PLD tracking sheets. You can request a copy of the PLD tracking sheets here.  It is recommend that you keep these spreadsheets in the ‘cloud’ so that they are constantly available to all staff in one place.
