Copyright Policy for PLD Resources
Welcome to PLD’s Copyright Policy page. This policy outlines the permitted and prohibited uses of all PLD resources, including School Licence and Individual Licence resources, printed books, and downloadable materials. Your use of PLD resources is subject to Australian Copyright Laws and the Statutory Education Licence, as well as PLD’s Terms and Conditions. By purchasing or accessing PLD resources you agree to comply with these conditions and failure to do so may result in charges being brought against you &/or your employer.
General Principles
- PLD’s resources are protected by copyright.
- The Statutory Education Licence allows for specific educational uses.
- Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
- It is essential to adhere to the terms of your specific licence (Individual or School).
- The use of PLD’s name, identity, branding, or any elements from PLD programs, or any content created by users that incorporates PLD elements, on third-party platforms (whether for free or for a fee) is strictly prohibited without explicit written authorisation from PLD.
- ‘Authorised Purchaser’ refers to the person or organisation who completed the initial purchase of the resource(s).
- ‘Authoriser User’ refers to an individual who is or who has been granted permission by the ‘Authorised Purchaser’ to use the resource(s).
- School Licence resources can only be shared by the Authoriser Purchaser with current employees of the Authorised School.
- Sharing with anyone who is not a direct employee of the Authorised School is in breach of these terms.
- Sections 1.1 and 1.2 below, outline in detail what is permissible and not permissible under a School Licence.
