Literacy involves more than just recognising words on a page. To be truly literate students need to be able to speak well, interpret what they’re hearing, and transfer all of this information into written language. It’s this unique three skill focus that sets PLD’s resources apart.
Starting in Week 1, Term 1, PLD would like to send Network Teach members age-appropriate and easy to implement Structured Synthetic Phonics suggestions for your year level, directly to your inbox. We will be providing tips for explicit instruction, how and when to complete progress checks, reminders to screen and how to cater for the range in ability, to name a few. This will help you in implementing PLD in your classroom and school.
